Ferrara is a city in Italy’s Emilia-Romagna region. It’s known for the buildings erected by its Renaissance rulers, the Este family. It takes about 1.5 hours to reach Montepulciano from Florence. Whilst we are happy to do a wine tour to that area in Tuscany, if you would rather minimize the driving time, we would suggest our Chianti tour departing from Florence, as you will spend much less time in the car and more time enjoying famulous wines!
